Rainer Pumps is a manufacturer of pumps that are smart and challenges the status quo in domestic and agriculture sector.

CHALLENGE

There are around 800 organized pumps manufacturers in India and also a huge chunk of unorganized players, pumps have one of the most polluted market in India.
The founder with his vision to solve challenges in the industry, wanted to come up with a brand that is distinct from the crowd and is extremely relevant to the problems of the users.

SOLUTION

After a brief market research and brainstorming sessions. We wanted to come up with an identity that challenges the status quo. We took cues from the name “Rainer”.

The actual “Rainer” of the world is a cloud that forms by reaching up and pours for the need of the people. And that’s when we illustrated the minimalist version of the cloud and illuminated it as a brand identity.
The identity stood out from the crowd and garnered lots of attention among the focus group.
We handled a contemporary illustrative approach in all their Marketing communications and collaterals.
We came up with an attention grabbing “Launch campaign” suffixed with an AD copy “Pumps that speaks to tanks” to emphasis on the USP of the pump which is the “Automatic ON/OFF feature”.

After a brief Branding, positioning and visual design, the brand was able to penetrate the Bangalore market and gain visibility, which led them to gain a considerable market share within a short stint of time.
