One of the oldest rig manufacturer in India needed a new way to connect to its customers

PRD Rigs is the first drilling rig manufacturer in India with ISO certification. For over 45 years, PRD Rigs have grown steadily to expand their operations in more than 60 different countries across the globe. With top-notch manufacturing facilities, PRD Rigs is a household name synonymous to ‘rigs’ in many countries like Haiti, Thailand, Phillipines and the Middle-East.

With the advent of the Digital Age, the oldest rig manufacturer in India needed a new way to connect to its customers across the globle. Their old website was cumbersome and had a ton of data on each product that would easily prolong the buying decision of the customer. We took the challenge of showing PRD Rigs in a new light, giving it a more solution-centric avatar rather than a product-centric one.

We brought out the essence of the company and conveyed it in a way that appeals to everybody

Upon a series of brainstorming with the stakeholders of PRD Rigs we understood what the brand really stands for. To them, nothing gives more happiness and satisfaction than solving their customers’ problems, no matter the uninhabitable terrain, monstrous weather, frequent calamities or poor infrastructure. When we digged deeper into their ethics, the story of how PRD Rigs uplifted the lives of many was unveiled. And that’s exactly what we conveyed – we narrated the ambitious Vision and achievements of the company in the form of real life testimonials of its customers.
In order to make the website more appealing, we combined captivating stories with appealing UI/UX Design. We cleared the clutter and presented the products under 4 major Industrial categories that the company catered to. Lively colors, iconography and meticulously planned interactions augmented the smooth navigation and the whole strategy of conveying the company’s ideals in the form of real stories.
